Hello and welcome to ‘The Royal Club’ which as you can guess is a blog that is focused primarily on my favourite team, Reading Football Club.
I have been a supporter of Berkshire’s finest since 1994 and I am a former season ticket holder, I resided in J230 in the East Stand for two and a half seasons before work commitments forced me to, reluctantly, give up my ticket.
Unfortunately now I’m unable to get to alot of the games as I have been exiled to sunny Stoke-on-Trent while I serve a 3 year Sports Journalism course at Staffordshire University. But I guess I must be taking the success with me as Stoke City find themselves on the verge of promotion to the Premier League. I hope Reading FC will still be there.
I will give my own views on the state of the club as we look to survive in the Premier League and I will also give my own spin on the latest news to come out of the club as well as reports from the games.
